MTG Peasant Pioneer Practice Tournament

As a prelude to the Peasant Pioneer Tournament held at Beyond Odyessey on December 13th, we will be running a practice tournament for those who want to give it a go as well, or test out decks.

Pioneer is a Magic: the Gathering Format where cards from standard sets starting from 2012 (Return to Ravnica) until now (Avatar) are legal, however this tournament will also have a 20$ budget!

• 1v1,
• Matches are Best of 3 Games,
• 20 starting life,
• 20$ AUD maximum total budget for entire deck using TCGplayer mid pricing,
• 60 card minimum deck size, max 4 copies of a card (unless otherwise specified),
• 15 card maximum sideboard, including Companions,
• Adherence to Official Pioneer Banlist,
• Adherence to Peasant Pioneer Banlist:

  • Ensoul Artifact,
  • Monastery Swiftspear,
  • Gifted Aetherborn,

There will be prizing for winners and door-prizing if you stick around until the end. Casual Card Games running alongside as always as well.
